 LYING APART are from Oldenburg, Germany, and they are playing metalcore. With their band name and their debut "This Bleeding Misery" in the tow, they do not want to be treated like all the other existing metalcore bands. They want to be separated from them. |

 Bullet – Bite The Bullet Even if you haven´t heard of this band before, it soon will be evident, that these guys are not new to their art. The groove sinks its teeth into your nervous sytem and at least lets you swing to to its beat. |

Unfortunately Lamera leave no doubt about the fact that Mannheim is not really a metal-stronghold. Not even the most benevolent listener can take pleasure of this potpourrie of any variety of heavy and sometimes not so heavy tunes.

 Contrary to the bands´name, the songs on this disk are structured and tightly redorded. A huge downside, though, is the sound quality, which rather reminds one of a rehearsal recording. |

 "To give no quarter is to give no mercy". This is obviously the motto of this band, formed in 2005, and it’s immediately put into practice in a really impressive way after the compulsory intro. The young band from southwest Britain mixes british old-school Thrash- and Deathmetal with shedloads of american Metalcore influences.
